I’m Michelle Knights, specialist advisor and consultant for accounting, financial planning and legal firms throughout Australia. I work with people who want expert advice and trusted information to support the success and performance of their professional practice.

At Rob Knights & Co, we have worked with the professions in Australia for over 45 years.

As principal, I am a presenter, consultant and adviser to the professions. I am the author of our suite of benchmarking surveys and our industry newsletter, MAP Memo.

I am a licensed practice broker and a popular keynote speaker at industry events. I facilitate internal partner retreats and strategic planning sessions.

It is this in-depth knowledge and experience that enables Rob Knights & Co to offer a completely holistic understanding when it comes to the professions. Known industry wide as a trusted valuer, advisor, and benchmarking and succession specialist, I am passionate about helping every client achieve their goals.

Rob Knights & Co was founded more than 45 years ago by my father, Rob Knights. I joined the firm in 1997 after being asked to work on a short-term project. I developed a passion for the business and, after a few years, was promoted to Services Co-ordinator before progressing to Associate.

Working alongside my father, I assisted in every facet of the business, developing the skills, knowledge and vision required to support the broad-ranging and trusted services offered by our firm.

I assumed leadership of Rob Knights & Co in 2004 after my father passed away, following a short battle with cancer. He often joked that he bred his own succession plan, but with a 30-year lead time.

I am extremely proud of the firm’s 45 plus year history and legacy and lead a firm acknowledged for its expertise and experience.
